“A sisterhood for real women in real seasons.”

The Heart Behind It

Brittney Cannon, Founder

âœ¨ Welcome to Grit & Grace Women ✨

Hey y’all… I wanted to share the heart behind this, because it’s real and it’s the reason this space exists.

I’ve always wanted to help my community, but I was also walking through a season of change — friendships shifting, life getting heavier, and feeling disconnected. I’m a busy mom, always doing for everyone else, and it’s hard to meet new people or find anything that truly fills you back up.

But one thing I do know?

My family loves the outdoors.

Fishing, being on the water, making memories… that’s where we’re happiest.

So I started thinking.

I had done Vacation Bible School, hosted local events, and loved serving — but what if I could create something that brought people

together and was something my whole family could enjoy too? Something simple, meaningful, faith-centered, and built on real connection.

That’s where the idea for the nonprofit began — rooted in faith, healing, the outdoors, and

small moments that bring joy and confidence back into people’s lives.

But I also realized I needed a place for me.

A place to breathe, grow, and meet women who get what it’s like juggling motherhood, marriage, healing, life, and faith all at once.

I already knew Grit & Grace would serve children, teens, women, and veterans — and that’s when it clicked:

This women’s group is the first branch of Grit & Grace Outdoors.

The beginning.

The foundation.

The heart.

A space for women to build community, find healing, laugh, talk honestly, enjoy the outdoors, and grow in faith together.

If you’re here, you’re meant to be here.

And I’m so excited to build something beautiful, honest, and full of God’s purpose — together.

Our Purpose

The Faith & Fire Circle was created to give women a place to heal, grow, and rise again.

We believe every woman carries both grit and grace — strength forged through struggle and beauty born from faith. This circle is where we walk through the fire together, not around it.

Our purpose is simple: to reignite faith, restore identity, and remind women they are never alone in the refining process.

 Core Themes

GRACE — We receive it freely and learn to extend it to ourselves and others.

GRIT — We stand firm through life’s storms, knowing fire refines, not destroys.

IDENTITY — We remember who we are in Christ and walk boldly in that truth.

SISTERHOOD — We build genuine connections that lift, support, and empower.

The Journey

The Faith & Fire Circle is an ongoing women’s sisterhood built on scripture, conversation, and real connection.

Each gathering focuses on a core truth — faith in the fire, grace that grounds you, finding your grit, identity restored, freedom to lead, and fire to reignite your purpose. Together we share, journal, pray, and grow stronger in both spirit and sisterhood.

Whether you’re rebuilding, searching for purpose, or simply ready for community, this circle is a space to breathe again and be reminded that your story still burns bright.
